One of the things I teach in my Thrive45 Weight Loss & Wellness Course is how to read ingredient labels of the foods we buy. There are many chemicals in our packaged foods that wreak havoc on our hormones. Many of these chemicals that are added to our foods are endocrine disruptors. That just means they will do damage to your hormones.
One of the worst things for your hormones that you can buy are store-bought dressings. They are almost always loaded with those endocrine disrupting ingredients that I just mentioned. The best thing you can do for your hormones is to ditch the store bought dressings and make your own. It is so super easy and saves you a ton of money!
Once you learn how to make your own you'll never want to go back to buying store-bought. Below is one of our family's favorite dressings .... Maple Vinaigrette Dressing.
Follow the directions below. Store in a glass jar in your refrigerator for 7-9 days. It will separate while in the fridge but that is ok. It doesn't have any emulsifiers (hormone disrupting) so it just needs a quick shake before you us it each time.
Pour over a large salad and enjoy!
½ cup Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
½ cup Maple Syrup
2 teaspoons Spicy Brown Mustard
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup Olive Oil
salt & pepper to taste
Combine all in a high-speed blender.
Store in refrigerator.
